Technical Assistance: We discussed registering with Clean Classrooms for Carolina Kids at https://www.cleanwaterforuskids.org/en/carolina/. The goal of the Clean Classrooms for Carolina Kids™ program is to identify and eliminate lead and asbestos hazards where North Carolina children learn and play. This is a legislatively mandated effort to address lead and asbestos hazards in North Carolina public schools, licensed child care centers, and licensed family child care homes. Participation allows facilities to meet all rule requirements for identified lead and asbestos hazards, as required by law. We discussed filing outdoor inspections after they have been completed so they can be reviewed in the future. You mentioned that you tend to complete the inspection the same day that you conduct your fire drills. At the completion of the visit, this visit summary was printed, reviewed, and a copy was left with you.
