    On 2/21/20022 Child A was in the child care home while attending care. The occurred to Child A's The wounds were at the time of reporting. The iniury was minor, and no medical attention was required. , completed a face- to-face visit with Child A to ensure her safety and well-being on 2/28/2022. The _ report states that the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department received an email regarding the incident alleging that there is in the home of Lisa Lienhart that is the children in care. Per the complainant, two children have been in the child care home a total of three times. Ms. Lienhart did not make one of the parents aware that their child had been =. The assigned , spoke to the complainant via telephone on 2/23/2022. The complainant explained that Ms. Lienhart's boyfriend has = that is allowed to stay at the child care home and the children on three se arate occasions. The = fine when around one or two children but when ■ is around all of the children it becomes . The most recent incident occurred on 2/21/2022 involving Child A. The also spoke to Child A's Mother via telephone regarding the allegation. Child A's Mother reported that she was not informed by Ms. Lienhart that Child A She —. explained that Child A's Father had picked up Child A from care on the date of the incident. Child A's Mother was unsure of the details regarding the ■ to Child A but reported that Child A had on that were Child A's Mother was not able to provide photos of the injury as Child A was away with her father. The _ spoke to Lisa Lienhart at her home regarding the allegation. Ms. Linehart explained that on 2/21/2022, Child A was near . She stated that she had contractors working at the child care home and she was trying to guide away from Child A because she could tell that was becoming All of a sudden Child A and the Child A causing Ms. Lienhart told the deputy that she typically would not bother parents at work for something minor, and =did not even need a band aid. Instead, she'd planned to notify Child A's Father of the injury when he arrived to pick up Child 3 A from care. However, when Child A's Father arrived, he was in a hurry and left quickly. Ms. Lienhart reported having in the home, but she is keeping her boyfriend's ■ in her bedroom to separate him from the child care children. _ interviewed Child A's Father regarding the allegation via telephone on 2/28/2022. He reported picking up Child A from care on 2/21/2022. He stated that he'd previously asked Ms. Lienhart to have Child A ready at the time of pick up because he had an appointment to attend. At the time of his arrival on 2/21/2022, he retrieved Child A and quickly left the child care home as he was in a hurry. Child A's Father explained that he did not speak to Ms. Lienhart when he arrived to retrieve Child A. He had not noticed a on Child A's but his -, mother had observed it. Child A's Father described the injury being the size of a ■ on Child A's on her . He stated that he thought the was an accident as he'd previously met and _ was always friendly. also interviewed Child A's Mother via telephone on 2/28/2022. Child A's Mother stated that on 2/21/2022, Child A was at Ms. Lienhart's home. She described the injury as being the size of a and stated that medical attention was not necessary. Child A's Mother reported having no concerns regarding Ms. Lienhart's child care home, but she stated that she was bothered because Ms. Lienhart had not notified her of the incident and injury. I spoke with Ms. Lienhart via telephone on 2/28/2022. advised Ms. Lienhart of the joint investigation regarding the alleged to Child A's -. Ms. Lienhart reported being ill and stated the child care was closed as a result of illness in her home. She acknowledged that Child A was in her home. She reported havina l.niia A.
