Child A ingested 12 extra strength acetaminophen tablets and used an unknown sharp object to inflict superficial cuts to her legs. Although Carolyn DeBoer was aware that Child A recently attempted to self-harm elsewhere and required 4 LANDMARK BUILDING • 105 W. ALLEGAN STREET • LANSING, MICHIGAN 48933 Michigan.gov/MiLEAP monitoring, she instructed Child A to go to a bedroom and read while she went outside with the rest of the children. Carolyn DeBoer was not aware of Child A's actions or of Child A speaking to Law Enforcement until paramedics arrived at the child care home in response to Child A's 911 call.
