Licensee Raida Abu-Shtayyah lives in the child care home with her husband and two adult sons and Ms. Abu-Shtayyah stated that her husband does not work and is home during child care hours but usually stays upstairs which is not a part of the child care space. Ms. Abu-Shtay*ahstated that children remai*iintthhe family room or dinette area during the day. works from home and to college in the morning and works a job ide of the home. Ms. A ayya stated that she does not have any other child care staff members in the home, and she supervises Child A the entire time that she is in care. Child A loves to be in the child care home, and she is not happy when it's time for her to leave. Ms. Abu- Shtayyah stated that Child A loves her husband and two adult sons that live in the home, but she only sees them when they come downstairs. Ms. Abu-Shtayyah stated that she last cared for Child A on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. was working from home on February 1, 2023, while sitting on the couch in the family room for part of the day. Child A was the only child present in the home on February 1, 2023 was also home during the day but remained upstairs most of the day. was out of the home at work on February 1, 2023. Ms. AbuShtayyah stated thatChild A talked while he was working on the computer. She stated that she never left thew hiothmMan Child A was not alone will=. Ms. Abu-Shtayyah stated that no one in her home would ever harm Child A or any child in the home. She stated that there was never a black man in the home and Child A was never taken to any room in the home other than the family room and dinette. Adult household membet stated that he works from home and sometimes from the office stated th was "flabbergasted" by the allegations made by Child A. He stated that they are not true at all. became so overwhelmed and upset by the allegations that he began to cry. He stated that the last time that Child A was in the home on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, he interacted with her like always. He stated that he wakes up between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM and goes downstairs when he's ready to eat and returns upstairs to work. He stated that sometimes while he is downstairs, he draws with Child A or plays "teacher.", He only plays with Child A in the family room because children are only allowed in that area of the home. stated that he never pulled Child A's lips or hit her, and he never took her clothes . stated that there have been no - black men in the home. Adult household member stated that he worked outside of the home on Wednesday, February 1, om :55 AM until 6:00 PM. When he left home Child A was in the family room with Ms. Abu-Shtayyah while his father and brother were upstairs. stated that he normally just says hi to Child A or gives her a high five and then leaves, _ stated that he never spends time alone with Child A. He stated that there is no chance that anyone in the home hit or scratched Child A or took off her clothes and there was no black man in the home. Adult household membe Pas very upset by the allegations. goes MwWnsantrs briefly during the day to eat or get medications then goes back upstairs or to the garage. No one in the home has ever hit or scratched Child A or taken her clothes off. There have been no black men in the home. No one comes into the home without being seen because there is a ring doorbell with a camera. Child A's Guardian stated that on February 1, 2023, on the way home from Raida Abu-Shtayyah's home Child A told her that two men pulled her lip. Child A began to cry and stated that one white man and one black man took off her pants and shirt, but they did not hurt her. Child A's Guardian asked Child A if she was telling a `fib': and Child A said no. About 15 minutes later Child A said that she was telling "fib." Later Child A said that she was telling the truth about the allegations. Child A's Guardian stated that Child A has been dishonest in the past and she usually redirects her when she's not been honest. Chil
