On February 9, 2021 1 along with made an onWienspec ion to the family child care home of Ms. Kohloud Hamdan. We made Ms. Hamdan aware of the allegations in the complaint. Ms. Kohioud stated she only watched the children a few times. She provided care for the children on Sundays. Ms. Hamdan denied ever hitting the children and went on to say that the children did not listen to her when they were in her home, she did inform their mother that they were not listening and told her that she would be unable to continue to provide care if they did not listen to her. On February 9, 2021 1 received a phone call from the reporting person. The reporting person stated the family consist of five children. The youngest three children went to the child care home of Ms. Hamdan on Sunday's. Child D age' years) reported Ms. Hamdan hits kept re eating that was hit throughout the day on Thursday. Child A , a e years) reported that the Ms. Hamdan hurt them but was not specific abou ow was hurt. That past weekend the children did not go to Ms. Hamdan's home, as ey were upset and did not want to go. The reporting person went on to say that since the mother of the children started working on Sunday's the children were more emotional during the week. I asked the reporting person how the children generally behaved. She said that they are good children, sometimes quiet, but no behavioral problems. On February 18, 2021 1, along with children at their current child care. 3 On February 18, 2021 interview Child D interviewed Child E On March 5, 2021 I along with _"""" interviewed the mother of Child A. Child B, Child C. Child D, and Child E. She stated Ms. Hamdan always seemed nice to her; however, her children told her that she was not nice. Her children only attended Ms. Hamdan's child care four times. After the second time they attended, Ms. Hamdan told her that if her did not listen, would not be able to attend anymore. I asked if she said that in rant of the chit ren and she replied yes. She went on to say that the children would cry when they were dropped off, she did not think anything of it, because she knew this was their first time attending a child care home, as they were used to attending centers. Child A, Child B, Child C, Child D, and Child Es Mother stated she explained to Ms. Hamdan that her children reported that she was mean and hit them. At first Ms. 4 Hamdan denied ever hitting them, but then stated that she did pop them once. She went to state that after the children cried at drop off, she decided she was not going to take them back again. March 8, 2021 On April 8. 2021 I made an unannounced onsite inspection to the child care home of Ms. Kohloud Hamdan to gather additional information and conduct the exit conference. There were no child care children present at the time of inspection. I asked Ms. Hamdan again about the allegations in the complaint. Ms. Hamdan denied that she ever hit or kicked the children. I asked Ms. Hamdan about calling the children bad and yelling at them. Ms. Hamdan denied yelling but stated that she did speak firmly because they did not listen. I asked if she ever "popped" the children, she denied ':popping:, them. I asked about her admitting to the mother of the children that she "popped' them. Ms. Hamdan stated that she never said she "popped" the children and she did not hit the children at all.
