On 04/01/2022 I completed an interview with the complainant via telephone. On 03/28/22 Child A reported the following: Child B took Child A into the shower at daycare and asked Child A to suck on his penis. Child B then pulled his pants down and Child A's pants down. Child B kissed Child A's butt and forced Child A to kiss his butt. Licensee Catherine Marchiando reported she was cleaning up from lunch at the time. She found Child A and Child B in the bathroom and they popped out of the shower but were fully clothed. She asked what was going on and Child B said they were just play fighting. Child A told Ms. Marchiando that Child B wanted him to suck his penis, to which Child B stated that Child A was lying. Ms. Marchiando dropped it at that point and did not report the incident to Child A or Child 2 B's parents. There have been no previous issues regarding appropriate care and supervision at the Marchiando group child care home. On 04/06/2022 I completed an on-site inspection at the Marchiando group child care home. I interviewed licensee Catherine Marchiando. On 03/28/2021 there were four school age children present. After lunch Child B (male, 8 years) and Child C (male, 10 years) went outside to play. Child A and Child B went into the room next to the kitchen to play, within ear shot. After about five minutes Child A and Child B got quiet. She went to check on Child A and Child B and they came out of the shower fully clothed. Child A stated that Child B said to kiss his butt. She reminded Child A and Child B about appropriate language. They went about their day with no other issues. She forgot to tell Child A and Child B's parents about the incident. The only previous issues with Child A and Child B have been them talking about butts and needing to be reminded about appropriate language. On 04/14/2022 I interviewed Child B, Child C and Child D's mother, Child E's mother, Child F and G's mother and Child H and I's mother via telephone. There are no concerns with appropriate care and supervision at the Marchiando group child care home.
Child A (male, 6 years) and B (male, 5 years) were not supervised properly on 03/28/2022.
