On April 17, 2021, I received a text message from Jessica Myers at 9:34 AM to report that on t0evenin of A ril 16, 2021, someone from the came to her home to question era ou i ,age ecause had injured arm and they were trying to determne whe ned. She spent an hour going through her day with them but wanted to make me aware of the allegation. On Monday, April 19, 2021, l spoke to Jessica Myers by telephone, and she stated that two individuals from the came to her home late Friday evening about an inc en with and ens e was asked to come down to the to make a statement later that night. She said she had received a text message from Child A's Mother shortly after pickup to say that Child A was saying, "Ow" and she wanted to know what happened to. arm. Ms. Myers denied knowing anything about arm and stated that Child A was fine all day while in care. Later that evening, Ch A's Mother texted her to say that she was at the and they were going to put a splint on ■ arm and next week would get a cast. ■ RR it breaks in arm, so she was tf rig to obtain records from in to determine the extent of Child A's injuries. rild ers Friend dropped off early the next morning at Ms. Myers child -e home and Ms. Myers reporte it was a completely normal day for Child A and did not cry at all. She said Child A used both arms all 3 day and ate with both hands, climbed up and down steps to a small toddler slide before left, and was putting weight on both arms all day. Child A's Mother picked Child A up at 325 PM and within 12 minutes she was texting Ms. Myers about arm. Child A's Mother said she noticed Child A went to raise arms to her a pick- up, but$ only raised one arm. Child A's Mother's friend, , was in the vehicle and noticed that Child A was only using one arm when she went to give • a snack. Ms. Myers reported that Child A's Mother had submitted her and I v )ke to Child B =° ages),and Child C of Child A and were in the vehicle with Chi ild A uo from Ms. Child A, B, & C's Mother stated that on April 15, 2021, Child A had a appointment for a at and did not attend 4 child care that day. ■ was never alone with anyone else after the appointment, and did not have any accidents that would have led her to believe it could have appened at home on Thursda . On Friday morning,she dressed Child A ave a snack, buckled. in vehicle and dropped off a Ms. Myers' child care home. sent her a snapc at video of Child A dancing in the driveway before went inside. Child A's Mother did not have any communication with Ms. Myers during the day on April 16, 2021, and Ms. Myers never texted her or said anything unusual happened to Child A. When Child A, B, & C's Mother went to pick up Child A that afternoon, she noticed did not come running toward her with both hands up normally does. She said. had a sad look on face, but4 was not cryingl.i kPsMyers turned around to get bag and Child said, "Ow. She went to put Child A into q ar seat and move left arm and said, "Ow" again. We handed Child A a snack and observed that was not using left arm to eat it. When it was done, she asked if wants more, but ChildTwould not use sign language to respond to her like normally thought Child A was not acting like , so Chi A's Motherd poulelesd.
