I requested a return telephone call On 2/8/2022 I received a voice messa On 2/11/2022 I completed an unannounced on-site inspection at the child care center. I informed licensee designee Bradley Edwards of the allegations. Mr. Edwards said he learned about the allegations when school resumed after winter break. Child A did not attend school for a few days after break. One of Child A's teachers contacted Child A's Mother to inquire about whether Child A would be returning to school. Child A's Mother informed the teacher of the allegations. From the information Child A's provided, Mr. Edwards got in touch with Mr. Edwards said he has not heard any additional information Mr. Edward said Child A has returned to school. Mr. Edwards sMa "Chi rides a different bus from the other children in 4 " classroom. The child care center was down to two child care staff members instead of the three child care staff members who usually cover Child A's classroom. Because of the child care staff member shortage, Child A exited ■ bus, then sat in the lobby of the main office until one of the child care staff members from Child A's classroom walked down to the office to get Child A, then walk with Child A to the preschool classroom. Mr. Edwards said from his observations, it appeared Child A sat quietly in the school office lobby until ■ teacher arrived. Mr. Edwards said the parents of the child care children arrange transportation to the preschool themselves. Mr. Edwards said he never saw Child A leave the office lobby with any child care staff members besides the ones who work in Child A's classroom. Mr. Edwards said all the preschool child care staff members are female. Mr. Edwards has never observed Child A to be alone with any male school staff members. I completed an exit conference with Mr. Edwards during my on-site visit. On 2/15/2022 I completed an unannounced on-site inspection. I interviewed child care staff member Jennifer Blom. Ms. Blom said she learned about the allegations when she called Child A's Mother after Child A did not return to school several days after winter break. After Child A's Mother told Ms. Blom what Child A disclosed, Ms. Blom contacted Mr. Edwards immediately. Ms. Blom said all of the child care staff members who work in Child A's classroom are female. Ms. Blom said she cannot think of any time Child A would be alone with an adult male at the school. The only adult males who come to the classroom are Mr. Edwards and the maintenance man. Mr.
