The complainant stated Child A started attending Ms. Yalda's child care in March and only attended on Fridays. On March 17, 2021, Child A stated Ms. Yalda popped (hit) her for crying during naptime. The following Friday, March 26, 2021, Child A came out of the home crying and said Ms. Yalda squeezed her arm really hard while getting her ready to leave. The complainant asked Child A why Ms. Yalda squeezed her arm and Child A said because she was thirsty. The complainant stated that Ms. Yalda was asked about these incidents, and she stated Child A was lying and that she did not hit her or squeeze her arm. The complainant stated there are cameras in the home so parents can watch their children throughout the day; however, the complainant did not watch the videos at all. Child A is no longer attending the child care. Ms. Yalda denies hitting Child A or squeezing her arm. She stated Child A only attended the home five days. She stated she never squeezed Child A's arm, but she may have held onto her arm to guide her to an activity. Ms. Yalda does not understand why Child A would say she did this.
