On 12/17/2020 I spoke with the referral source (RS) on the telephone. RS spoke to MHM1 who reported that on the morning of 12/14/2020 she and MHM2 (12-year-old female) were doing their homework at the dining room table and arguing. Mrs. McMullen told them to stop arguing but then Mrs. McMullen continued to make comments to MHM1. Mrs. McMullen told MHM1 to go to another room and MHM1 would not leave until her virtual class was completed. Mrs. McMullen grabbed MHM1's books and computer and MHM1 grabbed them back. Mrs. McMullen grabbed MHM1 by the ear and tried to get her to stand up but MHM1 pushed her away. Mrs. McMullen then tried to push MHM1 out of the chair she was sitting in and MHM1 pushed her back. Mrs. McMullen then grabbed MHM1 by the neck and then immediately let go. MHM1 then went to another room with Mrs. McMullen and then ended up leaving the home to walk to her father's home. There was no known marks or injuries from the encounter. It was not known whether any child care children saw the incident. Mrs. McMullen runs a quality child care, and the home is always clean and free of any observable concerns. Child care children seem happy and well cared for. The relationship between MHM1, MHM2, and MHM3 (7-year-old female) and their mother has been strained. It is not known whether this is the first physical altercation between MHM1 and her mother. On 12/18/2020 I conducted an unannounced onsite inspection at the home of Suzanne McMullen. There were nine children, and two child care staff members present. The home was clean, and no observable hazards or dangers were noted. Mrs. McMullen was spoken with in the living room away from the children. MHM1 was having a rough morning on 12/14/20 and was arguing a lot with her sisters and acting disrespectfully. MHM1 was asked to leave the room but she refused. She started to pack MHM1's belongings up and then attempted to move her by putting a hand on her back and guiding her out of the room. MHM1 then began hitting and kicking at her. She put her arms out to keep MHM1 away from her. She tried to push MHM1 by the shoulders but caught her in the front of her neck area instead. MHM1 was cursing and yelling throughout the entire incident. MHM1 then left the room and she was followed into the living room where MHM1 was told her behavior was unacceptable and she needed to be respectful or she could leave. MHM1 packed up her belongings and left to walk to her father's home. No child care child ere in or the incident because they were in the child care room with and Macy Arquette (child care staff member). This is new behavior from MHM1 and there have not been other incidents like this. She reported she is no longer involved in - but still attends regularly. She reports things have been going well lately at home with i and her children. I spoke with child care staff member Macy Arquette. She has been working at the child care since October 2020 and really enjoys the job. Macy confirmed she was working on 12/14/2020 and was present for the incident between Mrs. McMullen and 3 . • • •.f f • . • ffr :' .:r" - - - - - •f - • - •• II S -i • of • • • •f and f -• t •' •• r - - • • -• • • - • •' • f•' ' f' - ••• i `.' • 11.11 • •' f'• `f Li . - i• • - - • •I • •f • I ; • i • • - •I •- • - . • •,- - • • and •• `• I A • • - f. •II• '• f • f • •- •i f f _ - • f --• f i • -• • . • -- •I • - ••f f • • • 12 • • • • - ! • • - • i ' • f l ! .... • - • • • • • •'. - - • - - •. on. but •f S • • • f! • _ I• •f • • not •- R • ! • • •. f I• and S •I• - • • •• • -. - •o •r out ■' _ • - • - • - f continued • :.ff belongings • . and - R f and - • - • _ • • / • ' • • f i • • • I• •'• - r r • • •. • • •i • - • • -• - • - • f' . • - • f - - f •I • • • - 1 - • s - • • • '• - • - - • but • • '• •' IS • • • - • • r • • • • _ _ _. .• - • - • • - , - * • to to •' i •' • •• ••i • - • • - • •• • _ • •• i • r - f l • i - • a iiR` • • • - it • • i, • - t • i JEI f i i i - • • . f • Ei • ' • !f • . i • f~ - - • f - f •:i
