Caregiver broke Child A's arm (male, ), grabbed child's wrist and twisted leaving bruise; caregiver punches and cokes children in care. to time, meeting was scheduled for the following morning. On 01/12/2023, conducted an interview with Child A (male, ) at his school using"oMensic interviewing protocol. Child A reported going to Ms. Ashford-White's child care family home after school. There are six children at the child care facility including Child A's sibling, Child B. Child A does not feel safe when attending child care. In the year of 2021 or 2022 "PooPoo (Nataska Ashford-White) slammed me, punched me in the eye, slapped me and yells at us for no reason." Ms. Ashford-White was wearing her rings when she punched Child A. Ms. Ashford-White has also slapped, punched, threatened and slammed the other children attending the child care home. Child A has never seen an injury of the other children in care. Child A was the only child in care to have a bruise on his eye after Ms. Ashford- White punched him with her rings on. On 01112/2023, Child B (female, was forensically interviewed by ~. Child B enjoys going to Ms. Ashw—orWthhite's child care. Child B enjoys going on outings at child care. "Yesterday we went out to eat. We always go fun places, and we are going to see Avatar soon." Child B has never witnessed her brother, Child A or any of the other children in care get in trouble. Children in care do not get in trouble and there is nothing Child B dislikes about Ms. Ashworth-White's child care. Child B has never seen anyone get hurt while at the child care home. Child B's brother also likes to attend child care. Ms. Ashworth-White is not mean to any of the children in care. On 01/12/2023, Child D (female, ) was interviewed by using the forensic interviewing protocol. Chi reported when she was old, Ms. Ashworth-White punched her in the eye. Ms. Ashworth-White was wearing two — three rings and punched Child D in the left eye. There were no marks or bruises left after being punched. Ms. Ashworth-White "body slammed" her cousin and broke one of her ribs. Child D did not witness the incident and overheard Ms. Ashworth-White laughing while talking on the phone. Child D has witnessed Ms. Ashworth-White twisting her cousin, Child E's (female, , arm and "bloodying" her cousin, Child F's (male, ) nose. Child D forgot how Child F's nose was "bloodied" but overheard Child F telling Child D's mother. On 01/12/2023, conducted an interview of Child E at her school using the forensic interviewing protocol. Child E reported " Nataska Ashworth-White AKA PooPoo called the police on Child E and her brother Child F's mother after she got a 4 "whooping" on her arms and legs. Child E does not attend Ms. Ashworth-White's child care home and after school goes to the Boys' and Girls' Club. Child E has not attended Ms. Ashworth-White's child care for three years. While attending, Child E and the other children in care had their arms twisted. "One time she said, =I would punch you, Bro.' to Child A." Ms. Ashworth-White "football tackled" Child A and punched him in the eye with rings on.. Child A had a bruise above his eye. Child E was upset that Ms. Ashworth-White is trying "to get us (Child E and Child F) took away from our mom. My mama did not make my nose bleed." Child E has not obtained any marks or bruises by Ms. Ashworth-White. On 01/1212023, Child F was forensically interviewed by at school. Child F has not witnessed Ms. Ashworth-White twist anyone's arm. Child F is afraid to attend child care home "because of what PooPoo did to Child A and his cousin. 8l saw PooPoo push Child A out of his chair and he fell.'g Child F has never witnessed Child A or Child E being punched in the face. Ms. Ashworth-White has threatened to `whoop" Child F but never has. lbs. Ashworth-White has "muffed" Child F on the side of his head. On 04/04/2022, 1 received an email from On 04/01/2022, Child A (male, ages was interviewed and deniedReingagRMammed and punched by Nataska Ashworth-White. Child A did not have any marks or bruises and denied Ms. Ashworth-White has used any form of physical discipline on himself or any other child. On 04/05,12022, 1 conducted an unannounced on-site inspection at the family child care home of Ms. Ashworth-White and an interview was conducted. Ms. Ashworth- White has never body slammed or punched Child A or any other child in care. Ms. Ashworth-White has never used any form of corporal punishment on Child A or any other child in care. She uses redirection and talking to the children about their actions for discipline. She may have raised her voice to gain the children's attention at times. Child A is a good child and never causes any trouble. She cannot remember the last time she even needed to redirect him. Child A is her `helper„ since he is the oldest, he usually tells the other children to behave. Child A is a very responsible and well-behaved child. which from adult daughter that were threatening to get her messages she played her family child care shut down by any means. On 04/05/2022, Ms. Ashworth-White provided copies of Child A, Child B, Child C and Child D's child information cards. I also reviewed the attendance records for 03/01/2022. Child A, Child B, Child C and Child D were present on 03/01/2002, the date in question. On 04/27/2022, 1 contacted Child A and Child B's mother and an interview was conducted. Child B (female, age has never been body slammed or punched by Ms. Ashworth-White. Child A is years old and if anyone physically disciplined him, she would know. She has spo en to both Child A and Child B and these allegations are false. She has no concerns about the quality of care provided by Ms. Ashworth-White. Child A and Child B continue to attend Ms. Ashworth-White's family child care home. Child A and Child B enjoy going to the family child care home and love Ms. Ashworth-White. On 04/27/2022, 1 contacted by telephone and On 04/27/2022, 1 contacted Child C and Child D's mother. She has concerns for the quality of care provided to Child C (female, age= and Child D (male, age Ica by Ms. Ashworth-White. The children do not attend the family child care home of Ms. Ashworth-White any longer however that is due to a dispute between her and Ms. Ashworth-White that has nothing to do with the children or quality of care provided. Ms. Ashworth-White has never used any form of corporal punishment on Child C or Child D. 4129/2022 a re-dis ositianal conference was held with LARA area manager Rose Rafferty via *ee one. Child A didnot have any injuries and denied ever being hurt by Ms. Ashworth-White. The Child A's mother denied Child A ever disclosed any abuse and she has never suspected any abuse. On 0412912022, 1 contacted Ms. Ashworth-White by telephone and an exit conference was conducted.
