    On 09/04/2020 Ms. Wright submitted an incident report to her licensing consultant, Stephanie Shell informing her of an incident that occurred on 09/03/2020. I contacted Ms. Wright by phone on 09/04/2020 to speak to her about the incident. At approximately 1:15pm CCSM was sitting on the back porch of the home holding Child E , ) while Child A, Child B and Child C played on the side of the yard neaarg thePen nce to walking ail in the woods. At around 1:20 pm Ms. Wright brought out a bottle for to feed Child E and went back inside the home to finish a bottle for Child , age' ). She stated that when she handed the btohtet "for ii E she observed Child A, Child B and Child C playing with a wagon near the trail entrance. CCSM~was also in the home changing the diaper of Child F. Ms. Wright finishe s ottle and she and walked out the slider door onto the porch in the back yard so could feed Child F. When Ms. Wright exited the home she noticed that Child A, Child B and Child C were no longer playing near the woods and she could not locate them. She asked where the children were and he was unaware of where the children were. Ms. Wright began yelling for the children and walked the trail to see if she could locate the children. placed Child E down with " and began helping Ms. Wright search for the children. When they were unable to locate the children in the yard and on the walking trail Ms. Wright contacted Child A and Child B's Mother, Child C's Mother, and Child D's Mother by phone. Once they parents arrived, and they could still not locate the children Ms. Wright contacted 911 at around 1:30 pm. The children were found safe approximately one hour from the time 911 was called. She stated that she was present in the home along with two other child care staff members. Her and his mother Twelve child care children were present on 09/0312020. She confirmed a was outside with the children and had a direct sight line to the children poor to them wondering off in the woods. She stated once she realized the children were no longer in the back yard of the home she walked the trail which takes her around three minutes and then called the parents of the missing children along with Child D's Mother who is a principal of a school nearby. She identified that law enforcement located the children and they were safe with no injuries. E On and I com leted an unannounced onsite inspection at Ms. Wrig0h9t's/0 h8om/2e0. 20qRs and were present. Ms. Wright stated that on 09/03/2020 at around pm she was inside making bottles for Child E and Child F. She identified that one child is formula fed and one is breastfed so making the bottles is a different process. She stated was sitting on the back porch with Child E while watching Child A, Chtihlda Ran C play in the backyard near the entrance to the walking trail. Ms. Wright stated that she will on occasion bring children on walks on the trail as part of her programming. She provided signed walking permission forms for all of the child care children. The groomed area of the backyard is very large and is surrounded by a wooded area. The home sits on many acers and is surrounded by forest. Ms. Wright explained that she finished making Child E's formula bottle and brought it out to who was holding Child E. She stated that she observed the other three children playing near the woods. She then went back inside to finish Child F's breastmilk bottle. Ms. Smith was changing Child F's diaper in the bathroom.
