Based on my interviews and on-site inspection, I determined that the hammock Child B was using on the outdoor playground had an elevated playing surface and was not surrounded by a shock absorbing surface and did not meet the guidelines defined by the Consumer Product Safety Commision (CPSC) Handbook for Public Playground Safety.
