On 9/22/2025, Shelie Cook reported that there have been no other incidents involving MHM 1 and law enforcement at the home prior to 9/8/2025. Police reports show that law enforcement was out to the home in July and in August. Both encounters involved MHM 1 being violent. Throughout the investigation, Shelie Cook was not forthcoming with information regarding MHM 1's mental health condition, substance abuse, or violent behaviors. Most of the information regarding MHM 1 was only shared by Shelie Cook after she was told that the department had obtained police reports.
