Their written policy states child care staff members should remain home when they have a fever over 100 degrees, a rash, persistent cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, or eye discharge. When child care staff members have become ill during the workday, the Program Director tries to find coverage for the individual as quickly as possible.
