    R 400.1923 · R 400.1923 Diapering and toilet learning. (3) Diapers or training pants must be changed when wet or soiled.

    On 09/17/2021 Ms. Perry-Lee stated that the children's diapers are checked every thirty minutes and changed when soiled. The children are not sent home with soiled diapers. She has never received a complaint or concern from a parent related to soiled diapers. 2 On 09/17/2021 the complainant stated that the children's diapers are not changed, and Child A has had a soiled diaper with diaper rashes. She did not remember the specific dates that the diaper was not changed or a number of times it occurred. She could not remember. She did not speak with the licensee about these concerns. On 10/15/2021 Child A's mother and Child B's mother stated that children's diapers are changed frequently, and their children have never been sent home in a soiled diaper. On 10/15/2021 Ms. Perry and Ms. Thomas stated that children's diapers are changed frequently, and their children have never been sent home in a soiled diaper.

    On 09/17/2021 Ms. Perry-Lee stated that she was informed on 09/10/2021 that Child A tested positive for a communicable disease. She informed the parents on 09/10/2021 and 09/11/2021. She also contacted the Oakland County Health Department, and she was instructed to close the home for two weeks because of the exposure. Once the home was closed, she completed a deep clean of the child care area. She requires everyone at the home to wear a mask and she has a sign on her door reminding the parents that masks are required to enter the home. On 09/17/2021 the complainant stated that Child A tested positive for a communicable disease after attending the child care home because Ms. Perry-Lee does not require masks to be worn in the home. On 10/15/2021 Child A's mother and Child B's mother's stated that they were informed on 09/10/2021 of the communicable disease case at the home. Everyone at the home is required to wear a mask, and if the parents do not have a mask they 3 can call Ms. Perry-Lee and she will have a child care staff member bring the child out to the car. On 10/15/2021 Ms. Perry and Ms. Thomas stated that the parents were informed on 09/10/2021 after Ms. Perry-Lee was informed of the illness. Ms. Perry-Lee requires everyone in the home to wear a mask.
