(1) Pursuant to section 5n of the act, MCL 722.115n, prior to an individual having any unsupervised contact with children, the department shall determine the individual's eligibility to be any of the following: (b) An adult member of the household.

  On 07/28/2023 I completed an onsite inspection at Wiggles and Giggles family child care home. There were five children in care at the time of the onsite inspection. I informed Chelsey Timreck Tamm of the allegations and interviewed her. She reported her father-in-law passed away in August 2021. That was the only relative to pass away since she has been licensed. Her brother-in-law came and stayed there for a few days and left the weekend after. When asked if she remembered the dates, she stated he came the date they picked up the ashes and she looked up that date which was 08/18/2021. No other people have stayed at the home. Occasionally she has potential parents come to check out the child care to decided if they want to enroll their children.
