Discipline (1) Positive methods of discipline that encourage self-control, self- direction, self-esteem, and cooperation must be used.

Interviews and observations conducted during the investigation did not substantiate the allegation of inappropriate discipline. Therefore, there is insufficient evidence to conclude that a violation of licensing rules occurred.

Information gathered during the investigation determined that the center was aware of allegations regarding potential inappropriate discipline and conducted an internal investigation. The matter was not reported to the department because the center determined that the allegations were not substantiated. The child care center failed to report the allegations to the department within 24 hours.

Teacher 2 did not complete the 2025 health and safety refresher course.
