Staff; volunteer (1) All staff and volunteers present at the center shall: (a) Provide appropriate care and supervision of children at all times.

Lead Teacher and Teacher 2 provided appropriate care and supervision of Child A and Child B. Child B started running towards the dramatic play area and accidentally pushed Child A into the corner of the cubby causing Child A to hit her mouth cutting her gums.

Child accidents and incidents; child and staff illness (1) A center shall develop and implement a written plan for how and when a parent is notified if program staff or volunteers observe any of the following: (b) A child experiences an accident, injury, or incident.

The center has a written plan for how and when parents will be notified when a child experiences an accident, injury or incident. On 4/14/2026, Program Administrator provided Child A's Father with an accident report explaining how Child A was injured. However, after Child A left the center Lead Teacher thoroughly explained the accident to Program Administrator and Program Administrator updated the accident report and provided the information to Child A’s Mother and Father.
