On 09/30/2025 Teacher 3 and Teacher 4 had Child B's Mother sign Child A out on the attendance; however, Teacher 4 did not release Child A to Child B's Mother as was prearranged but Child A's Mother, Child A's Grandmother and Child B's Mother. Techer 3 reported Teacher 4 asked her to verify Child B's Mother was on Child A's emergency card as being 2 LANDMARK BUILDING • 105 W. ALLEGAN STREET • LANSING, MICHIGAN 48933 Michigan.gov/MiLEAP authorized to pick up Child A. Teacher 3 reported Teacher 4 didn't recognize Child B's Mother and wanted to make sure Child A got to Child A's Grandmother. Child B's Mother's "face looked grumpy and she didn't say Hi to Teacher 4". When Teacher 4 returned from walking with Child A she told Teacher 3 that Child B's Mother was upset but she was unsure of her and wanted to be sure Child A got to his grandmother whom she knew from last year.

Teacher 4 was not listed on the staff attendance for 09/16/2025, 09/30/2025, 09/23/2025 or 11/03/2025 at the time of the inspection. She took the staff attendance records from me to write in her attendance during the inspection. She advised me that she has not been good about documenting her attendance for the facility.
