On 4/09/2026, Child Care Staff Member 1 inappropriately disciplined Child A by spanking Child A which is a prohibited form of discipline. Child A is the biological child of Child Care Staff Member 1 and reported to be unaware that due to Child A being in care at the time they could not physically discipline their own child. Further the licensee, Victoria Farver was unaware that Child Care Staff Member 1 could not physically discipline Child A.

On 4/10/2026, I observed a child confined by a mesh tunnel net that zipped the child in and prevented the child from getting out during rest time. The licensee, Victoria Farver and Child Care Staff Member 1 reported that the child kept running around waking other children up during rest time and that they were 2 LANDMARK BUILDING • 105 W. ALLEGAN STREET • LANSING, MICHIGAN 48933 Michigan.gov/MiLEAP unaware they could not confine the child during rest time.
