There is insufficient evidence to support that on 4/7/2025 a child care staff member working in the Elm Room (young preschool) failed to use positive methods of discipline that encourage self-control, self-direction, self-esteem, and cooperation. The complainant source reported a child care staff member yelled at an unknown child on 4/7/2025. I interviewed the licensee, the program director and all of the child care staff members that worked in the Elm Room on 4/7/2025 and none of them report any child care staff member yelled at a child for getting off the mat or for any other reason. Further there were no complaints made to anyone at the center that this incident occurred. I also contacted several parents of children that attended care on 4/7/2025 and none of the parents have any concerns and have never observed any child care staff member yelling at children.
