On 04/17/2023, - and I completed an onsite inspection at Ms. Dykhouse's home. Ms. Dykhouse was providing six children with two of the six children related and under six years old. explained the allegations to Ms. Dykhouse. Ms. Dykhouse denied ild A on Ms. Dykhouse said children do not watch television are in care. Child B did indeed throw a ball in the garage and hit a piece of trim; however, she did not yell at him but asked him not to throw balls in the garage. Ms. Dykhouse denied hitting Child J or any child in care. She said she would never hit, put her hands on, or hit a child on the head. On 04/19/2023 during a phone conversation with Ms. Dykhouse, she stated she would never hurt a child. Ms. Dykhouse said she would never spank Child J and said it would not be appropriate around children in care. Children are her life, and she would never hurt a child. Spanking a child would belittle the child in front of other children and she would not do that. Parents of children in care will support her. During a telephone interview with on 04/20/2023, Child C (female, ), Child D (female, ), and Child s (male, ) Mother state er children have been in care for ten years. Child C, Child D, and Child E have never come home and told her anything that would be of concern. Her children have not ever said Ms. Dykhouse hits or spanks children. On 04/1712023, Child B said he goes to Ms. Dykhouse's home before and after school. Ms. Dykhouse watches him unless she is out running I errands. If Ms. Dykhouse is away from the house, watches him and other children. cleans the house and drives a big red truck. Other adults may be there like one of Ms. Dykhouse's daughters or Be Ms. Dykhouse's husband. In the afternoon, comes home en4-5 PM. He is in the house, garage, or sometimes mows the lawn. is there early in the morning too. He is usually getting ready for work and "eavesl Rbeetween 6-7 AM each day. Child B never recalled a time when ■ did not live in the home. On 04/17/2023, and I completed an onsite inspection at Ms. Dykhouse's home. When we arrived, there was a red truck in the driveway. Ms. Dykhouse stated it was her truck and no one else was present in the home. is related to her, cleans her home, and is never alone with children. Ms, Dykhouse denied ever leaving the home or leaving to watch children. Parents of children in care know she does not leave to run errands. Ms. Dykhouse said she does not have any child care staff working for her and has not for a while and reminded me that she told me that previously to the special investigation. She is having issues with the child care background check portal and has not maintained it. Ms. Dykhouse denied - lives in the home.. and I exited the home, the red truck was no longer parked in the driveway. Ms. Dykhouse said her son-in-law took the red truck to get parts from the detached garage located on the property. On 04/19/2023 during a phone conversation with Ms. Dykhouse, she stated comes in and out of the garage but are not together anymore an s e did Rnonotf inger print him.
