It was alleged that on 04/13/2023 during drop off, a child was observed unsupervised in a classroom. Becky Trimmer, licensee designee and program director, witnessed the child unsupervised. No other information about the allegation was available. I conducted an unannounced inspection at the center on 04/17/2023. No children were observed unsupervised. Ms. Trimmer stated that she was unaware of any child at the facility being left unsupervised on 04/13/2023 or any other day. No parent or child care staff member reported a child being left unsupervised. 2 Child Care Staff Member 1 and Child Care Staff Member 2 both stated that they have never witnessed any child unsupervised at the center. Both were present at the center on 04/13/2023 and were not aware of a child being unsupervised. Child B's Mother and Child C, D, and E's Mother both stated that they have never witnessed a child unsupervised while at the center. They have never had any concerns regarding the care and supervision provided by the center child care staff members. During the exit conference, I suggested that Ms. Trimmer remind parents that children must be signed into a child care staff member to prevent any situations where a child might be dropped off without a child care staff members notice.
