Based on the interviews from licensee, Marcia Herstein and CCSM 1, on 1/14/2025, Ms. Herstein used appropriate disciplining measures to prevent Child A from harming himself and other children.

Based on the information provided during the investigation including the history of Child A's behavior on 1/14/2025, we are not able to determine that Child A's bruising was a result of care provided by CCSM 1 or Ms. Herstein. Ms. Herstein and CCSM 1 provided appropriate care and supervision to Child A.

Licensee, Marcia Herstein denied grabbing Child A and Child B's chin to pull them closer to her. Based on the interviews of the licensee, child care staff member, and parents, there is no evidence that Ms. Marcia is disciplining inappropriately.

During the onsite inspection, there was an infant sleeping with two blankets and toys in the play yard with him. All infants shall rest or sleep alone.

During the onsite inspection, I observed Ms. Marcia put a bottle in the microwave to warm it up. Microwaves and crockpots are prohibited. Bottles must be warmed in a bottle warmer.
