R 400.8216(7) · R 400.8216(7) Orientation (7) Before issuing a license to operate a child care center, and before the renewal of a license, the department shall verify that not less than 50% of the program staff are currently certified in pediatric first aid and pediatric, child, and adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Each of these program staff’s first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certificates must be valid and retained on file in the center or at the central office until 2 years after the effective date of this rule, after which they must be made available online at MiRegistry.
