At the time of inspection, I reviewed the child care background check system, and staffing plan. The staffing plan listed a program staff with a hire date of 5/5/2026. The child care background check system revealed the individual was fingerprinted and results were received 4/3/2026. The individual was connected to the facility on 5/6/2026. The staff attendance in the classroom showed the individual 5 LANDMARK BUILDING • 105 W. ALLEGAN STREET • LANSING, MICHIGAN 48933 Michigan.gov/MiLEAP signed in on 3/23/2026 from 7:45am to 3:50pm. The program administrator stated the program staff was in the classroom as a substitute teacher. Another individual was signed in on the staff attendance 3/24/2026 at 7:45am to 3:45pm, 4/16/2026 at 8am to 4pm, and 4/24/2026 at 7:50am to 3:45pm. The program administrator stated this person is a substitute teacher. Fingerprints were never requested for this individual in the child care background check system.
