  Based on the interviews that were completed, there is insufficient evidence to support that Teacher hit Child A as a form of discipline. Although ST stated that she saw Teacher hit Child A’s right arm on his bicep or tricep, hit Child A once on the shoulder, upper back area, and slap his hand, Teacher denied hitting Child A and slapping his hand. There were no other witnesses that observed the allegation, and the child care center does not have cameras that could show what occurred.
