She heard Child A scream, and she went over to see what happened. She walked over to Child A and saw Child B . She had Child B Child A because when Child , he does . Child B's Mother stated she did not know that Child B ■someone numerous times and Child B no longer attends the child care due to unrelated circumstances. (1) The licensee shall ensure that the actual number of unrelated children in care at any 1 time does not exceed the number of children for which the child care home is licensed, not more than 6 children for a family child care home and not more than 12 children for a group child care home.
On 12/07/2022, I completed an on-site inspection. Mr. Mawut and Child Care Staff Member 1 (CCSM 1) were caring for eight unrelated children. Mr. Mawut stated that licensee Ajah Aguer was away on vacation. I interviewed Mr. Mawut and CCSM 1. Mr. Mawut denied ever caring for more children than his licensed capacity allows. Mr. Mawut stated that he and licensee Ajah Aguer have always maintained appropriate ratio requirements. It is important to note that Ms. Aguer and Mr. Mawut requested a variance to change their ratio of personnel to children present at any one time from one personnel to six children to one personnel to seven children. Likewise, they requested a variance to change their licensed capacity from 12 unrelated children to 14 unrelated children. Both variance requests were approved and granted on 07/27/2022. Mr. Mawut provided me with child information cards and children's attendance records from 10/10/2022 to present.
