On 04/21/2021 I interviewed the complaint source who stated that Ms. McDonald reported that she operates child care out of the home next door. Ms. McDonald clarified to the complaint source that she does not reside in the child care family home and spends her nights at the home next door to the child care family home with her adult son Aaron McDonald. On 04/27/2021 I completed an unannounced onsite inspection at the child care family home from 10:05 am - 10:30 am. Ms. McDonald stated that she notified the police that she lived next door with Mr. McDonald, who needs supervision. Ms. McDonald added that she wanted them to know that she was sharing the home and supervising Mr. McDonald. Ms. McDonald confirmed that she owns the home at 3126 McClure Ave., Flint, MI 48506 where Mr. McDonald resides. Ms. McDonald stated that she eats some of her meals at that home with Mr. McDonald and does her laundry there. Ms. McDonald stated that she sleeps in that home only on days that she is not operating child care out of 3122 McClure Ave., Flint, MI 48506, which she rents. Ms. McDonald showed me her bedroom in the child care family home, which was cluttered with items and the bed did not appear to be slept in. Ms. McDonald added that she sleeps on the couch in the living room as she has a knee injury and it is easier for her to get on and off of such, rather than her bed. Ms. McDonald clarified that the mother of her enrolled children may be contacted to confirm that she resides in the child care home. Ms. McDonald notified me that she will provide me with letters from others that will confirm that she resides in the child care family home along with pictures of bills in her name. I took a picture of her driver's license and confirmed that the address is that of the child care family home. On 04/27/2021 Ms. McDonald texted me pictures of her vehicle title and mailing labels for three packages with her name and address. 3 On 04/29/2021 Ms. McDonald texted me pictures of two letters from individuals confirming that Ms. McDonald resides in the child care family home along with two more bills in her name and address. On 04/30/2021 Ms. McDonald texted me a picture of another letter from an individual confirming that Ms. McDonald resides in the child care family home along with pictures of her bedroom cleaned up. On 05/02/2021 Ms. McDonald texted me a picture of another letter from an individual confirming that Ms. McDonald resides in the child care family home. On 05/11/2021 texted me pictures of another bill in her name and address. On 05/19/2021 Ms. McDonald texted me Child A (female, 2 years) Child B (female, 1 year) and Child C's (female, 5 years) child information cards. On 05/20/2021 I attempted to call Child A, B, and C's Mother but the telephone number was not in service. I contacted Ms. McDonald and she stated that she would provide me with the updated telephone number for Child A, B, and C's Mother. I attempted to contact Child A, B, and C's Mother, yet the telephone number was Child A, B, and C's Grandmother's. Child A, B, and C's Grandmother stated that she often drops off and picks up Child A, B, and C from Ms. McDonald's home and confirms that she resides there. Child A, B, and C's Grandmother reported that she would have Child A, B, and C's Mother return my call. Child A, B, and C's Mother returned my call and confirmed that Ms. McDonald resides in the child care home.
