At the time of the onsite inspection, I observed that an individual employed by the Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) was not determined eligible through the Michigan Child Care Background Check system had unsupervised contact with children. They were observed outside gardening. I addressed this with the program director who stated that she thought that the person could be unsupervised with the children as she is a GISD employee. I clarified the rule and she went and joined them outside.
