    Outdoor play area. (7) The outdoor play area must be protected from hazards, when necessary, by a fence or natural barrier that is not less than 48 inches in height.

    Staff check the playground daily. In mid- April Teacher 1 discovered heavy rains had washed away soil creating a hole in the corner of the large playground. Before teachers allowed children to use the playground, temporary fencing. 48 inches in height, was placed on the large playground. These temporary barriers block access to the area where soil has eroded.

    Based on interviews with PA and teachers and observation during the on-site inspection; child care staff members provide appropriate care and supervision of the children. Teachers supervise children when using naptime bags. Teachers do not allow the children to play with plastic bags or put plastic bags over their heads.
