First aid expires on 9/2/2027, but the educator was missing the certificate for CPR.
The educator had a ten month old infant sleeping face down with a bib on, and the child was placed on two mattresses. We discussed the regulations and policy. The educator removed the bib and second mattress right away. A copy of the Safe sleep policy was sent by email for the educator to review with her assistant. We discussed to complete the safe sleep training, sign the safe sleep pledge and have the parent sign the Safe Sleep Parent Letter.

We discussed to complete the FCC EEC essential 2.0 trainings which is a total of 12 hours. The educator completed 10 hours for GSA by error.

For the outdoor space we discussed to remove small stones and construction materials such as pieces of wood, tools, and wheel barrels from the back yard. We also discussed to barricade the spaces wider than 3 1/2 inches in between railings for the back exit.
We discussed to repair the following: cushion the edges of shelves, install door stoppers for the doors in playroom and activity room, and cover the outlet in the small room.
