At the time of the visit the toddler classroom did not have sufficient materials and equipment visible, accessible and available to the children in the classroom. There were multiple bins of mixed-up toys on top of the cubbies not out for the children to use. Toy shelves in the classroom only had a few toys on them and they were not organized in a way that the children could find something to play with and make choices on their own. The preschool classroom had multiple bins stacked up on the cubbies out of the reach of the children. The staff said they were organizing the classroom. The children need to have the materials and equipment visable, accessible and available in order for them to make choices on their own.

At the time of the visit there was an old piano in one of the toddler classrooms which needs to be removed due to it taking up usable classroom space and it poses a hazard for the children in that classroom. Doors in the toddler classrooms were not all accessible due to cubbies being in front of the doors as well as on the outside of the classroom a large counter top and cabinets blocking one of he exits. All exits must be accessible in case of an emergency.

Standing water on the playground from melting ice made it difficult to get into the playground. Please ensure that the entrance to the playground is accessible and free of standing water. At the time of the visit there were bags of leaves in one of the playhouses making it so the Children could not play in the house. At the time of the visit the sand box was in need of more sand and had leaves filling the sandbox. At the time of the visit there was yard debris on the smaller playground making it difficult for that area to be used for the Children as it was meant to be.
