During the health and safety review of the Dinosaurs Dance Classroom, the following was observed: 1) One Educator did not wash their hands after coming into contact with bodily fluids while wiping a child's nose. 2) One Educator and a child did not wash their hands after diapering.

Three children's records were reviewed, and the following was found: 1) Two children's paperwork was expired. 2) Three children did not have evidence of date of admission.
Three Staff Records were reviewed, and the following was found: Three Staff member PQ Registries were expired.
At the time of the visit, the first bathroom in the No Place Like Space Classroom did not have a toileting plan posted.
During the safety inspection of the program, the following was found: 1) Multiple shelves and Dramatic play equipment in The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Over and Under the Pond, and No Place Like Space Classrooms were not secure. 2) Chipping paint was found in the The Very Hungry Caterpillar Classroom.
During the program inspection, the following was observed: 1) The emergency exit and evacuation route in the Very Hungry Caterpillar classroom were not kept clear of obstructions during the visit, as required by regulation. 2)There was no evidence of Emergency and Evacuation written and diagram postings posted at the back door in the No Place Like Space Room.

Staff monitor environment for hazards-Hazardous items not accessible to children
An educator in the Hungry Caterpillars was observed calling a toddler a "pest" and then picking the child up to stop them from the behavior rather than using positive redirection and kind words.
An educator in the Hungry Caterpillars Infant/Toddler room was observed using phrases often such as "nope!", "stop", "no more", and "now you're just being a pest" rather than using positive redirection.
The following was observed in the Wild Things Preschool room: 1. The bookshelf was unsecured 2. A rug was placed up against the walls causing the edges to be lifted which poses a tripping hazard.
A review of three IHCP showed they were all missing the required training information.
The lid was missing from the diaper disposal in the Horton Hears a Who classroom.
A toilet plunger was observed in "The Giving Tree" preschool classroom.
There is a patch of peeling paint on the wall in the library area of the Wild Things classroom.
During the health and safety review of the program, the following was found: 1) Shelves, dramatic play equipment, and bookshelves were not secured in the Wonderful Things You Will Be, Good Night Moon, Rainbow Fish, and Where the Wild Things Are Classrooms.

An Educator In the Wonderful Things You Will Be Classroom did not follow proper hand-washing procedures when she used the food preparation sink to wash her hands after completing a diaper change.
