During the visit the program was over ratio capacity with one infant, there were three children under two-years-old that did not meet the required ratios. The educator's full time assistant was reportedly at an appointment. The EEC licensor requested for the assistant to be present in the program or one of the infants to be sent home since the program was over ratio capacity. The provider was asked to remove all items. Per the provider’s report a mattress had been ordered. The provider will ensure that this infant does not sleep in pack and play without the mattress and with no items around infant. Safe sleep citation will be enforced and process will need to be completed. The provider will ensure to follow all safe sleep regulations and practices with all infants in care.
