It was reported by the educators and the owner that the sink was used for handwashing after diapering and that bottles and other food related items were cleaned in the kitchen and brought back to the classroom. At the time of the visit, bottles were air drying on the counter of the sink and it was reported by the educator within the classroom that the warm water of the sink is used to heat bottles. Facilities used for hand washing after diapering or toileting must be separate from facilities and areas used for food preparation and food service.
