Children’s files were reviewed. All files had incomplete general permissions because educator is not documenting where children are taken when off premises. One file had no lead screening. One file did not have an allergy/asthma action plan based on information on physical.

Yard will be approved for use. It was observed that there was a grill that was not completely covered. There were some gardening tools and a ladder accessible behind one of the sheds. Outdoor play materials were not setup.

It was observed that the educator stepped inside on three occasions while the children were outside on the deck. Each time was just for a few seconds, however, it was discussed with the educator that she cannot be coming in and out even if she can see the children through the glass slider door. During one of the times it was to grab play materials. Which was discussed that she should have materials ready and within space and ensure she remains outside with all children at all times. If educator needs to step inside for any reason, she must bring all children inside as well.
