In the infant room three the changing pad has a hole and needs to be replaced and the heater in that room needs attention as it is rusting and could pose a risk to children. In the Pre-K room the area near sink needs attention for old spills. The floor in the Pre-K room around toilet needs attention. The wall in Pre-K has a hole and could use fresh paint.

During the visit the following was observed: The changing table in the toddler room had clutter (check clutter throughout the toddler room), bookshelf in toddlers was not secure. In the preschool room there was a plunger that was accessible to children, the rug was dirty, bookshelf was not secured (not a lot of books accessible), the vent near the sink was dirty, there was clutter on top of shelves and throughout the room. In Pre-k the sink area has debris on the floor, wall and around molding, bathroom in pre-k had plunger accessible to the children, the bedding was touching, and the vent in pre-k was dirty.

During the visit the outdoor space was observed and there were low levels of mulch throughout all areas. On the preschool refurbished climber there was an area that had less than the 6 feet of required fall zone, it measured 5ft 4 inches. There was a little tyke’s climber in the toddler play space that might not be for commercial use. The exit of the slide was 7 inches to the mulch and the other slide was 11.5, all exits to the ground must be 6 inches or less on a toddler playground. There was only 7 inches of mulch around the climbing structure on the toddler playground. There was a climber dome on the preschool playground that may be for home use only, program will look further into this and report back.
