At the time of the visit an Educator in the Toddler I classroom did not use good judgment when she wiped a child's injury with a diaper wipe (the injury appeared to be a bite as it was wet with upper and lower semi-circle marks surrounding the wetness). The Educator handed the toddler age child an icepack to apply to the injury and walked away, within a minute she walked back over to the child, took the icepack from him, wiped the injury twice with the icepack and then put the icepack away. The injury was not washed with soap/water and the ice pack was never applied to the injury.
