Despite having a plastic mat and wall changing table inside the nap room area, during the visit the following was observed: 1) EEC regulations require the changing surface is protected with a covering that is of adequate size to prevent the child from coming in contact with the changing surface. The educator did not have a covering underneath the children when she changed 2 diapers of the children that were present in the plastic diapering mat to prevent child from coming in contact with the changing surface . 2) EEC regulations require that Educators wash their hands with liquid soap and running water using friction and dry their hands with individual or disposable towels after diapering a child; and after changing, the child's hands must be washed with liquid soap and water, and dried with individual or disposable towels. During the visit the educator did not washed her hands between diaper changes of 2 children that were present, nor did she wash the children's hands after changing them.
