During the visit, the following was observed: #1) EEC regulation states that 1 educator working alone can care for up to 8 children , including 2 children of school aged (5 years and older) and no more than 3 children under 2 years old including a child who is at least 15 months and older and who can walk independently. During the visit on 11/6/25, educator was alone caring for 8 children, and only 1 of the children present was of school aged instead of the 2 required. Educator did not have the appropriate number of staff required to meet appropriate educator to child ratios/capacity. #2) A review of children and Certified assistant attendance records for the period of 11/3/25 to 11/6/25 showed the following: -On 11/3/25 educator cared for 8 children alone from 1 PM to 2:10 PM as the assistant record showed that the assistant departed at 1 PM from the program. At the time none of the children were of school aged. -On 11/5/25 educator cared for 8 children alone from 1 PM to 2:10 PM as the assistant record showed that the assistant departed at 1 PM from the program. At the time, only 1 child was of school aged instead of the 2 required.
