The following hazards were found at the time of this visit in the indoor space: 1. The educator had a burning candle on top of the kitchen counter. 2. The educator had an unsecured drawer in the kitchen with knives, can opener and shedders.
The following hazards were accessible at the time of this visit in the backyard: 1. There was a hammer, a gas tank, uncovered snow blower machine, a loose wire was hanging low from the wall, a cleaning spray and a broken laundry machine accesible to children in the backyard. 2. The educator had an open space under the porch that it pose a potential entrapment and hiding space for children.
1. Although the educator said she does the curriculum, the educator did not have evidence of a curriculum plan for the week available at the time of this visit. 2. The educator did not have evidence of age appropriate activities and a structure routine. The children were having free play during the time of this visit.
