1. At the time of this visit, the licensor observed that the front door was unlocked and the licensor was able to step in the home unnoticed, although she called the educator upon entering posing a potential safety hazard for the children/program. 2. The educator was using a floor fan accessible to children on the first floor family room.
Indoor Hazards
The educator did not maintaining same floor supervision when at the time of this visit, this licensor observed that the educator’s assistant was on the first floor talking on the phone, while the 4 children were unsupervised in the basement, the educator was out at an appointment at the time.

The following hazards were found in the backyard accessible to children: There were 2 metal ladders, shovels, brooms, buckets of storage piled up on top of a table, a large bike, an extension cord rolled up on the canopy, 2 extension cords hanging on walls and pieces of wood.
The educator needs house area materials and toys, blocks, manipulatives, math and science toys.
The educator acknowledged that she was not having curriculum planning and implementation of age appropriate activities.
