At the time of this visit the educator had the front door unlocked and with easy access to strangers coming from the outside. Upon the licensor arrival to the home, the licensor knocked at the door and noticed that the door was unlocked. This licensor was able to open the door and called the educator. The educator was not immediately available and children were present in the area. This licensor called the educator a couple of times and the licensor was able to step into the indoor space to call the educator again, this is when the educator came out from the living room area. This licensor also observed that a parent arriving after this licensor was also able to open the door freely and step inside the home. This pose a potencial safety hazard for children.
