During the visit, both educator and Regular assistant/{REDACTED} files were reviewed. The following was observed: 1) Per educator Regular assistant/{REDACTED} currently works 35 hours a week. EEC regulations states that educators in family child care working more than 10 hours per week must complete at least 10 hours of professional development PER YEAR. However, the Regular assistant only had evidence of 17 hours that were all completed in 2025 in his file, instead of the 10 hours per year required since the license was issued on August 2023.
