Violation
Licensor was able to inspect all of the licensed rooms during the monitoring visit. The following hazards were observed: ** KITCHEN - cabinet under the sink has a lock but it’s not working and needs to be adjusted, cleaners on counter need to be moved prior to the program reopening. ** LIVINGROOM - no hazards ** BEDROOM - mirror needs to be moved and clutter needs to be removed from night stand. ** PLAYROOM - no hazards, but the chaning pad used for diapering has a cotton cover that is not easily sanitized and needs to be removed. ** DININGROOM - no hazards ** BATHROOM - no hazards ** OUTSIDE - Educator utilizes a fenced in area in the back yard and the driveway as the outdoor playspace. The fence is broken in one section and the pipe is sticking out and creating a hazard. There is pea stone in the fenced in area and Licensor discussed that children under the age of 2 are not allowed in this area due to the choking hazard. Educator stated she is already aware and ensures that this area is only used by the older children.
