Observed a large Inflatable pool with no water but dirt, leaves, and other blow-up equipment inside. Cover had blown off and was scrunched up in a corner. As the licensor was leaving, a four tiered plastic water toy was observed with dirt and standing water inside all the sections. Water toys must be emptied immediately after use and sanitized between uses and whenever contaminated.

A metal swing set with multiple swings and a large flying saucer swing and a slide attached is located in the backyard. This playground equipment does not have the required fall zones installed and is accessible to childcare children. The educator mentioned the possibility of installing a swing set to the licensor during the previous visit in July 2024. During this visit in 2024, the licensor discussed the need for fall zones with the educator and emailed her a copy of the EEC Playground Safety Policy. The swing set must have the regulated fall zones installed, have a fence placed around it to prevent childcare children access, or be removed from the yard altogether. The licensor will conduct a follow up visit to inspect the space and verify the corrective actions taken by the educator when the work is complete.
