At the time of the visit, it was observed that when students were being dismissed, staff at the front desk would use a walkie talkie to notify the staff downstairs who was leaving for the day. Student A had three diagnosed conditions, but was missing medical documentation for their third diagnosed condition. The IHCP for their second diagnosed condition was missing documentation of the name of the condition and the symptoms. The program stated that they had been informed verbally that the child could eat the allergen in baked items, but did not have written medical documentation of this. The plan must describe the chronic condition, its symptoms, any medical treatment that may be necessary while the child is in care, the potential side effects of that treatment, and the potential consequences to the child's health if the treatment is not administered.
