At the time of the visit, the following was observed: within the Toddler One classroom there were six students with one educator (as the co-teacher took some students to the bathroom located outside of the classroom). Later, it was observed that a teacher took one student to the bathroom, leaving an educator alone with eight students in the Toddler One classroom. In the infant classroom it was observed that one educator stepped out of the classroom, leaving the co-teacher alone with five students. The program must have the number of educators necessary to ensure adequate supervision of the group at all times.

At the time of the visit, it was observed that a seven month old, within the Infant Classroom, was fed a bottle while in a 'baby bouncer' seat. At the time of the visit, it was identified by EEC that educators need to hold infants while feeding. Once identified, the educator in the room held the student and continued to provider them with their bottle. In programs serving infants and toddlers: Infants must be held while fed a bottle.

At the time of the visit, the outdoor area was observed to have turf, it was unable to be determined if there was a proper fall zone under the turf. It was observed that the toddler play area and the preschool play area both had slides that did not have an adequate use zone of six feet in all directions. The use zone should extend a minimum of 6 feet in all directions from the perimeter of the standalone climber.
